Dollar Tree has definitely stepped up their game lately with trendy, seasonal decor. I love their ornaments, Christmas trees, floral, and ribbon! There's so much cute stuff there, and everything is priced at just $1 or less!
Today, I'm sharing three different ways to make festive centerpieces using Dollar Tree materials. Plus, I love that these ideas are FUN to do as a crafty activity, and are super cute, stylish, and cheap!
1. Candles, Ornaments, and Floral Display Dollar Tree Box
For this first look, I filled the DIY rustic wooden centerpiece we made in a previous post with lots of different bits of floral, ornaments, and two candles. The two candles had large labels (easy to remove without any soaking). For height, you can add upside-down bowls or floral foam to the inside of the box, and place items on top to help them stick out a bit more.
Here are the directions to make your own wood centerpiece. It's so easy – I promise! Or you could also look around your house for a large bowl, container, or serving tray and make a similar centerpiece as well.
2. Dollar Tree Mini Snowman Christmas Trees
These mini white Christmas trees are such a bargain at Dollar Tree and are fun to decorate with!
To transform them into snowmen, I glued red bells as "buttons" to the white trees. Then I tied a piece of ribbon around each tree as a scarf. These specific face ornaments can also be found at Dollar Tree, though they also have black hat ornaments which will also work.
I stuck them inside two Dollar Tree coffee cups I embellished as DIY Rae Dunn inspired mugs and secured them using floral foam. You can use another container, or pot, or a small bucket or box if desired. Dollar Tree has a lot of options. I like how simple and cute these turned out!
3. Flocked Dollar Tree Mini Trees
Here's another Dollar Tree mini tree idea that's so stylish and fun!
I embellished a plain green tree by flocking, and then I added berries and embellishments to make them look a little more high-end. Using a bucket or planter as a base completed this cute look. Go HERE for complete instructions.
